Telecompletes network appeared unavailable as was their web site between 22.47 and 02.07 UTC on the 24th January.

Manap Issues - 23rd January 2009
Manchester Internet Exchange (www.manap.net) appears to be having issues today.
At about 12.43 UTC we noticed some slow down in the internet and instability in connections.
After a short investigation it became apparent there was a problem with routes through manap. Packet loss was being reported at 65%+ and the manap web site was unavailable.
Issue was resolved at 14.18 UTC. No news yet as to the reason for the outage.

Kingston Internet - 9th August 2008
Karoo and Kingston Internet (part of the KCOM group) experienced a total loss of service from 3pm until around 10pm on Saturday the 9th of August effectively knocking Hull and the surrounding area that Kingston Communications (part of the KCOM group) serve off the internet.
They have not yet released details of what happened but it appears they had to call in Nortel and Cisco to resolve this issue.

Claranet Outage - 4th August 2008
It appears Claranet had an outage on the 4th August which was blamed on data centre Global Switch.
It appears the problem was caused by a power failure at Global Switch 2 in London which caused two routers to fail as a result of the power failure.

Cable & Wireless Outage
Cable and Wireless's data centre in Watford has been targeted by thieves who appear to have stolen a large quantity of cisco networking equipment. A number of major sites such as Sainsbury's appear to have been affected.

Goodle Docs Unavailable
Google Docs and Apps was unavailable for some time on Tuesday 8th July.
Customers just received a server error page telling them to retry in 30 seconds.
